"What gets me out of bed in the morning is the prospect of
another day's smoking" --- J.R.R. Tolkien
"First Intelligent Usage of Tools by Man, Circa 2,000,000 BC" or "The Big Pipe
Theory"[1]
What could one possibly write about Tobacco? People have called it The
Tree of Life[4], The Tree of
Hope, The Tree of Peace, The Divine Pleasure, The Sublime
Pleasure, The Motivator of Great Minds, The Sacred Plant, The
Great Analgesic[2], The Devil's
Weed, and many other different names. Ideally, Tobacco smoking should be a Holy
Sacrament, but the pleasure it gives is so intense that many (if not most) people
who smoke, usually abuse it on a daily basis[3].
The author's feelings about Tobacco smoking, are nicely summarized by the author's
favorite composer, Johann Sebastian Bach, in his
Edifying Thoughts of a Tobacco Smoker, by Charles
Spurgeon (below), a British Baptist preacher, who said: "When I have found intense pain
relieved, a weary brain soothed, and calm, refreshing sleep obtained by a cigar, I have
felt grateful to God, and have blessed His name.", and by J.R.R. Tolkien (below) with
his famous quote, above.
Waking up and realizing you are still alive: not
allowed to smoke(giphy)

Next time you try to fight the irresistible urge to enjoy some Tobacco,
remember to look at the list of notable people in no particular order below, of people
who have enjoyed it at one time or another.
Precisely because Tobacco is an analgesic and it greatly
relieves the tremendous pain that most people are in, those in power and control,
have banned its use from all public and work-places, under the pretext that it
presents dangers to non-smokers via passive smoking. This way, the pain of the ones
who are suffering can be made greater in the absence of the most efficient
analgesic Nature has given man.
For those worried about adverse health effects, nothing has been proved
about cigarettes or tobacco in general, except general correlations, such as: abusing
it/overdosing on it on a regular basis and for a long time, MAY cause anything from
minor undesired side effects to total cancer of every organ in your body. There have
been studies on American Indians with some of them suckers smoking like an
apartment's gas chimney. Total casualties after ~50 years of studies: around 1 case
of lung cancer, on a population sample of ~1,000. Of course, if you abuse it on a
daily basis, you'll just have it coming. So, always contemplate very
carefully whether you deserve a next cigarette. Best is to use it only as a reward
for lots of work.
Rev. 2:7: "τῷ νικῶντι

"από δε του ξύλου

φάγεσθε απ'
αυτού, η δ' αν
